In the chalet is everything necessary for your stay. You will find a hairdryer, hand and bath towels, bedding and bed linen. If you want to splash in the Jacuzzi or sweat in the sauna, bath slippers and a bathrobe are an advantage. The cottage is self-catering, so food and drinks are on your own to take away. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes including kettle, toaster, microwave, stove with oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. On the terrace is a gas grill with fixed gas connection, the necessary grill accessories and for the transitional period also an infrared heater.

If you stay longer, there is even a washing machine, a clothes horse and an iron with an ironing board ready for you (you have to bring your own detergent).

WLAN, TV with internet connection and music system incl. Bluetooth we have of course :)

You are welcome to bring your dog to the chalet - especially for our four-legged friends the Turracher Höhe region is a true paradise.

Any additional costs or guidelines for the visit with your dog please specify directly with the booking request.

The reception is always available by phone for emergencies and personally staffed in the mornings and afternoons for your questions - the exact opening hours can be found in the welcome folder in the chalet or on the homepage.

In front of the chalet is a parking lot, which offers space for 2 cars.

The valley station of the Kornockbahn is quite easy to reach on foot - just follow the access road and just before it goes to the main road, there is a barrier on the right to a short forest path that leads directly to the valley station.

The skis and ski boots can be stored in the ski stall of the reception "Alps-Resort", then you can comfortably walk with your normal shoes to the valley station. The reception is right by the valley station and just at the end of the trail after the Kinderland. The ski stall is in the basement behind the house - an underground car park exit shows the way.

Note: On the Turrach there are also point cards that can also be divided among several days and people.

Food must all be brought along yourself - there are only limited opportunities to buy things directly on the Turrach:

• Marktalm / Ackerbox: here you can buy a lot of regional food and drinks in a small "Ab-Hof- Hütte": https://www.marktlalm.at/huettenurlaub/kulinarik

• Bäckerei Stocklauser: there you can buy bread and pastries as well as a few odds and ends. https://www.stocklauser.at/

• Supermarkt: the nearest supermarket is in the direction of Carinthia in Ebene Reichenau - a small Spar (15 minutes by car) or a larger Billa still 5 min. further in the direction of Bad Kleinkirchheim.

There are many huts, restaurants and hotels within walking distance - here are a few tips:

• Tom's Restaurant/Pizzeria: right next to the valley station Kornock, pizza also to take away - Google Maps

• Marktlhütte: rather reachable by car: https://www.marktlalm.at/huettenurlaub/kulinarik/

• Hütten Geheimtipp: s'Hüttenplatzl - Facebook Link - take the Zirbenwaldbahn to the top station, then turn left onto the red piste 19 and immediately after the first fork in the piste it is signposted left

At check-out the house is to be left clean (vacuum cleaner is in the house) and the garbage is to be disposed of by yourself (at the garbage island at the exit from the resort area to the main road).
